“There are two big forces at work, external and internal. We have very little control over external forces such as tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, disasters, illness and pain. What really matters is the internal force. How do I respond to those disasters? Over that I have complete control.”
~Leo F. Buscalgia
You always have a choice in your reaction to what and who you come in contact with. This is true for wonderful things, ordinary things, and horrible things. Be sure to be intentional and celebrate wonderful, find something remarkable in the ordinary, and determine the lesson from the horrible. Failure to live this way is a victim’s approach. You are not a victim. You have infinite potential. Choose your attitude.
LOVE it! I need to celebrate life more! For example, maybe for every Monday, I celebrate it with a happy hours after drinks re mix…..to say hey, tgim. Instead of celebrating the end of the week…after we have grinded so hard during the work week, then we have only 2 days to celebrate life. No!! start the week out that way! Thanks for the reminder!
Thanks for your comment Felicia! Yes, every day gives an opportunity for celebration or at least gratitude. A monday night TGIM celbratory drink is a great idea!
You are so right…its all just a matter of perspective ! 🙂
Yes – and we have the power to choose our perspective!
