For years, management gurus have extolled the virtues of strengths-based leadership and the benefits of recognition and expressions of gratitude. Why then does this seem to still be such a rare skill set among leaders? I urge you to reflect on your own leadership style and that of leaders and team members who report to you. What are you doing to ensure you consistently model these best leadership practices? Are you also demanding the same from your team?
