“Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.”
~William Shakespeare
To reach our goals, to become what we might be, we must push through fears and doubts. The key is to assess whether you are facing in the right direction. In other words, ask a set of questions that lets you know that if you do take action, despite your fears, that your action is at least moving you in the direction you need to go.
For example: If achieved, is the goal in alignment with your values? If so, act! Even if you stumble, the learning will be priceless as you get up and keep pushing, eventually past the obstacle, and onward on your journey.
And remember, the journey is more important than the destination because once there, you will see you are simply at a resting point along the way to the next destination, and the next. You are in a constant state of becoming. Make sure you are facing in the right direction and keep going!
