Today’s political debate creates a dangerous situation where otherwise decent, intelligent, well-meaning people descend into angry rhetoric which can create damaged relationships. We really are mostly alike in our beliefs as humans. We all want peace and safety for our families and communities, the opportunity for health, learning and development for ourselves and those less fortunate than us, and to live our lives in a free society. Don’t allow the passions of political issues harm your ability to think and act rationally and to care for all of society and not just our narrow ethnic, religious, or any other labeled group.
