“One very important aspect of motivation is the willingness to stop and to look at things that no one else has bothered to look at. This simple process of focusing on things that are normally taken for granted is a powerful source of creativity.”
~Edward de Bono
When you or a team you’re working with find yourself stuck trying to solve a problem or imagine new opportunities, it is often helpful to re-frame the problem/question. Move beyond the obvious or your previous experience. Look below the surface and try to find connections or factors that may be hidden by common beliefs. It is in this journey of discovery that you will likely find your path forward as your creativity is unleashed.
